What is the Cocktails & Creations painting experience like?
A canvas and acrylic time machine back to childhood……When was the last time you took time just to sit down and play? A painting event can best be described as art entertainment. Cocktails & Creations is a fun, interactive, social activity, with an art component. We like to describe it as Play for Adults! All you have to do is show up! Beginning with the same blank canvas as you, and while some great music is playing, an Artist Instructor will paint right alongside you, demonstrating each incremental step along the way to re-creating the featured painting! With the Artist’s able facilitation and guidance, and while you are enjoying your cocktail of choice and the company of friends, you and other guest artists will be shown how to bring your own acrylic work of art uniquely to life. Painting events typically take between two to three hours, with ample opportunity to socialize and linger until you have your own one of a kind masterpiece to take home in reward for an evening well spent.
But, I am not an “artist”…….!
We hear this all the time from the adults! (in contrast, every six year old when asked, raises their hand in bold acknowledgement I AM an artist). The ONLY aptitude required at Cocktails & Creations is your willingness to try. We promise you will surprise yourself at the end, while having great fun and creating some fabulous memories along the way. Are Alcohol and Snacks available for purchase?
Absolutely! Cocktails & Creations has an extensive bar which offers a terrific selection of red and white wines, craft beers, signature martinis, liqueurs, sodas, flavored and sparkling waters and tempting snacks for you to enjoy.
How do I make a reservation?
Reservations are highly recommended although walk-ins are accepted on a space available basis! Conveniently make reservations directly from our website (You are obviously already here!). Go to the Calendar and simply click on the painting or date you would like to join us!
Are Gift Cards Available online?
Absolutely! Send an E-Gift Card directly from our website by simply clicking on the purple “Gift Certificate” link. Gift Cards are also available at Cocktails & Creations for in-store purchase.
Can friends or groups all sit together?
We always try to seat friends and parties together... just be sure to let us know after you have made your reservation and we will be sure to make the appropriate seating arrangements. Of course, part of the experience’s shared fun is that painting takes place at adjacent tables, so you will make new artist-friends too!
What is the cost of a Cocktails & Creations painting event and what does it include?
The price ranges between $30-$45 depending on the chosen painting event type and time of day. We provide all the raw materials including step-by-step artist demonstration and facilitation, acrylic paints, paint smock, great music and atmosphere, and a 16 x 20 take home canvas.**

What should I wear?
We provide paint smocks to help protect clothing. Although with a little water, acrylic paints can typically be removed immediately from clothing before the paint has dried, we nevertheless recommend choosing your clothing accordingly because paint can happen!
Can I bring my pet, ex-boyfriend, or attorney?
In our experience, any of the above three tends to have the same effect on both your and other guest artists’ overall enjoyment of the experience.
When should I arrive for the painting event?
Evening painting events typically start at 6:30p.m. We recommend arriving twenty minutes early to check-in, pick your choice of seat and get settled in with drinks you might enjoy from the bar. Guests who arrive twenty minutes or more late may not be allowed to join depending on whether the late arrival will be disruptive to the other guests’ experience and the overall pace and progress of the painting event. Unfortunately, payments and vouchers will then be forfeited. Please refer to our website Calendar for scheduled painting event start times, including Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons.
What Is Your Cancellation Policy?
We are happy to reschedule! Rescheduling notices received 48 hours or more prior to your reserved painting event may be rescheduled to another painting event, or even transferred to a different guest upon request, within one year from the original reservation date. Reschedule notices received within 48 hours up until event start time will incur a $10 rescheduling fee. Cancellation notices received seven days prior to your reserved painting event are entitled to a full refund upon request. Cancellation notices received within less than seven days prior to the reserved painting event will be charged for the reservation. No call/no shows will not be rescheduled and will be charged for the reservation. Private event cancellation notices must be received two weeks prior to the reserved event or be subject to forfeiture of the deposit. Private events require a two week reschedule notice, or the event deposit is forfeited. No Exceptions. Cancellation notices and rescheduling requests should be made with an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, or by phone (970.764.4296).
I tend to be a perfectionist and am not an artist. Will I enjoy the experience?
Absolutely! However, we recommend “perfectionist/ “execution oriented” individuals be separated so their strict focus on attaining perfection will not be unreasonably interfered with by the frivolity, high spirits, and general mirthfulness of other guests intent merely on enjoying themselves. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with our consumer disclaimer, which reads in relevant part …“ use of the word ‘Mistake’ is strictly prohibited.”

When does the new painting event schedule come out?
We try to post the schedule six weeks in advance. Ask to join our email list at email@example.com and “Like” us on Facebook to get a sneak peek of the monthly calendar and special events and promotions.
How often do you repeat paintings? (Rats! I missed a painting I really want to paint.)
We absolutely Love it when you let us know your favorites and wish list! We try to incorporate familiar favorites and a variety of new, local interest and seasonal paintings in each month’s schedule. Check our calendar frequently for inspiration!
Are Children allowed?
Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult and pay the adult painting event price for evening painting events. Keep in mind, the evening events are adult oriented, with alcohol available for guests’ purchase. Of course, we also regularly offer fun painting events especially for children and Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon painting events sure to inspire children and all those with whimsical inclination alike.
Can I BYOB?
No. By Law individuals are not allowed to bring in outside liquor or beverages.
Can I host a private event at Cocktails & Creations
We welcome your private event whatever your special occasion, whether the celebration is a “just because” event or baby shower, family reunion, engagement party, bachelorette party, anniversary or business function. Of course, we also welcome your private event whether it includes a painting component or not!
